To help our studio run smoothly and consistently, we kindly ask that all families adhere to the following payment policies:

Monthly Tuition
• Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
• A $10 late fee will be applied to all payments received after the 10th of the month.
• If tuition has not been received by the 10th and no prior communication has been made
with the studio, students will not be permitted to participate in class until the account is brought current. If you anticipate a delay in payment, please contact whitney@dancecanvas.org before the 10th to discuss your account.

Returned Payments
• A $25 returned check fee will be incurred for any returned or insufficient funds.

Missed Classes
• Tuition is based on enrollment rather than attendance. Therefore, classes missed due to personal absence for any reason are not eligible for tuition credit or refund.
• If your dancer misses a class and would like to schedule a make-up class, please contact whitney@dancecanvas.org.

Inclement Weather
• Classes canceled due to snow or other weather-related closures will be rescheduled.   Families will be notified of the make-up date as soon as it has been determined.

Refund Policy
• All registration fees and class tuition/fees are non-refundable.
• All company and competition fees are non-refundable.

Charging Permission 
• By agreeing to our policies in Jackrabbit, if you have selected the automatic payment method you are authorizing Dance Canvas Performing Arts Center, LLC to charge your credit card or bank account provided. 

Surcharge Notice
• In an effort to cover the costs of credit card processing fees as a small business, we will charge 2.89% +$0.30 per transaction to every transaction paid with a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit card. The amount will not exceed the regulated amount of 3% per transaction. This does not apply to debit cards, cash/check, or ACH/bank draft payments.
